CHEMICAL TREATMENT SERVICE PRE-CLEANSE
A chemical service pre-cleanse extends beyond simply removing dirt and oil from the hair and scalp, it also removes minerals and heavy metals in most tap water. These minerals and metals can lead to irritation, and in extreme circumstances can be the cause of an adverse reaction during an oxidative service. Here are the Eufora recommended pre-cleanse options.
Traditional Chemical Pre-Cleanse with Urgent Repair Shampoo
(for excessive build-up) This daily clarifying and restorative treatment shampoo provides healthy hair and scalp benefits. The gentle, non-drying formula thoroughly removes buildup caused by products, metals, chemicals, minerals and environmental pollutants.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Gently pre-cleanse at the shampoo bowl and rinse thoroughly. Towel dry and proceed with color application.
Chemical Pre-Cleanse with COLOR PREP SPRAY
(for standard pre-cleanse) This pH balanced, pre-chemical service treatment contains chelating agents that bind heavy metals deposited into the hair, greatly reducing irritation during an oxidative process. COLOR PREP SPRAY is designed to solubilize (dissolve) dirt and oil, stabilize peroxide and help reduce post service irritation.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Spray generously at the scalp in 1” to 1.5” sub-sections.
Mist through mid-shaft and ends to lightly dampen hair.
Gently brush the hair to pull away dirt and contamination, then proceed with the service.
OXIDATIVE SERVICE BOND PROTECTION SYSTEM
There is a chemical reaction that occurs during any oxidative service that can cause damage to disulfide bonds in the hair.

ALOELITE CREAM LIGHTENER
Achieve up to 6 levels of evenly controlled lift with this creamy lightener. Ideal for guests with a lighter base or fine hair. Designed for any lightening technique with stay-put performance and application ease.
KEY INGREDIENTS AND BENEFITS
• Cera Alba (Beeswax): a multi-functional natural emollient that provides lubrication and hydration for velvety softness, strength and shine.
• Paraffinum Liquidum: a highly refined mineral oil that helps prevent irritation while attracting moisture and providing protection to the hair.
MIXING DIRECTIONS
Mix in a non-metallic bowl.
• Mix 1-part CREAM LIGHTENER with 2-parts UNIVERSAL CREAM DEVELOPER 5 to 30 Volume (1:2).
• Mix the formula with an application brush or non-metallic whisk until thoroughly blended.
• Add COLOR ELIXIR PROFESSIONAL ADDITIVE – Step 1 to mixed formula and blend.
USAGE
• 5 Vol. – 20 Volume Developer for on scalp application.
• 5 Vol. – 30 Volume Developer for off scalp application.
• Heat is not recommended.
• Total processing time should not exceed 50 minutes with foil, 55 minutes without.
ALOELITE FREESTYLE CLAY LIGHTENER
Achieve up to 6 levels of lift with this clay lightener. Ideal for guests with a deeper base wanting a sun-kissed hand-painted effect such as balayage, shatush and ombré.
KEY INGREDIENTS AND BENEFITS
• Hydrolized Wheat Protein: to reduce hair’s porosity and strengthen it from within. Helps reduce breakage, and increases hair’s ability to receive and retain moisture.
• Kaolin: a natural clay that has the ability to absorb fluid and has an elevated concentration of Mineral Salts to help soothe irritation, itching and flaking.
• Creatine: a naturally occurring derivative of the amino acids glycine and arginine. Helps protect the electrostatic bridges in the hairs intermolecular bonds to prevent breakage.
• Paraffinum Liquidum: a highly refined mineral oil that helps prevent irritation while attracting moisture and providing protection to the hair.
MIXING DIRECTIONS
Remove bag from tub and massage to mix powder prior to first use. Mix in a non-metallic bowl.
• Mix 1-part FREESTYLE CLAY LIGHTENER with 1-part UNIVERSAL CREAM DEVELOPER 5 to 40 Volume (1:1).
• Mix the formula with an application brush or non-metallic whisk until thoroughly blended.
• Add COLOR ELIXIR PROFESSIONAL ADDITIVE – Step 1 to mixed formula and blend.
USAGE
• 5 Vol. – 20 Volume Developer for on scalp application.
• 5 Vol. – 40 Volume Developer for off scalp application.
• 40 Volume Developer is not recommended.
• Heat is not recommended.
• Clay lightener stays moist at the hair strand, keeping lightening strength evenly consistent (may form a soft crust on the outside of applied lightener).
• Total processing time should not exceed 50 minutes.
